Pressed Flower Bar @ Proletariat

The Pressed Flower Bar is a 2-hour class, that offers a fun environment to learn about the art of creating with pressed flowers. The tickets to this class include an 8x10” floating frame, pressed flowers, and all other materials needed to make your own preserved floral frame. You can bring personal photos or notes to add to your creations or use the pressed flowers to create a piece of art you will be excited to show off and display in your home.
Your first glass of wine will be free along with charcuterie-style snacks from the UnCorked Wine Bar. Additional wine may be purchased. Tickets can be purchased through Eventry, here.
Paint and Press @ Bodovino Downtown
Create, sip, and be merry. Come join me in a 2 hour workshop at Bodovino. In this class, you will get to paint your own 6x6” wooden canvas with an Idaho, then adorn your creation with pressed flowers. Each piece is entirely customizable to each individuals preferences. This class offers an opportunity to learn about pressed flowers in a community atmosphere, while diving into your own creativity. Drinks can be purchased at the bar separately.
While the finished pieces are completely fine to be taken home as is, you can choose to have your piece finished with resin for an extra $10. This can be arranged day of the class.

Watercolor & Pressed Flowers Collab Event @ Lost Grove
Join Kaylee of Moonstruck Creations and Lindsay of Lindsay Rae Art for a watercolor + pressed flower collab class! We are painting these cutie mushrooms and adding pressed moss, greens, and flowers to complete the woodland vibe. This guy is simply the cutest and we hope you are as excited as we are! Flower Pressing: Part 1 @ The Lit Room
Come learn the art of flower pressing in this two part, intensive class.
In the first class, we will learn how to press over 10 different types of flowers and greenery. Each student will receive a 9x12” flower press to work with and take home.
At the second class, we will open the presses together and learn proper dried flower handling techniques, storing methods, and go over ways to use them in various projects.
The two classes will be about 1 month apart allowing the flowers enough time to dry in the press before retuning for the second class. Each class will be 2 hours long and will take place at The Lit Room in Garden City. Wine will be available, but you are more than welcome to BYOB.
When: May 31st, 6:30-8:30pm (Class 1)
June 28th, 6:30-8:30pm (Class 2)

Sawtooth Fest
Sawtooth Fest is an annual art market held in Stanley Idaho, featuring over 100 makers, musicians, food and drinks. The festival will take place Saturday, from 9-5, and Sunday from 9-2. With the Sawtooth Mountains as the backdrop for this market, and Redfish Lake just a few minutes drive up the road, this market makes for the perfect day trip.
